The Strażak-28 (B-861-1), a firefighting vessel built at the Remontowa Shipbuilding SA shipyard for the Szczecin and Świnoujście Seaports Authority SA. The ship has an overall length of 29.2 m, length between risers of 25.06 m, width of 10.47 m, height to the main deck of 1.55 m and a design draft of 3.45 m, and PRS ice class L2. The Firefighter-28 is designed to perform fire protection tasks in transshipment, transportation of hazardous materials by tankers carrying flammable gases and liquids, requiring the assistance of a fire unit, as well as tasks related to rescue and work safety of the Szczecin and Swinoujscie port.
Vestnes Ocean in this project was responsible for technical insulation, all accommodation- including design, material supply and installation. We are proud that we have been a part of this project.
