Vestnes Norway is taking over “Flatsetsund Møbel og trevarefabrikk” in Frei

Vestnes Norway (VN) and the owners of Flatsetsund møbel og trevarefabrikk (FMT) has signed an agreement that VN will buy 100% of the shares in FMT. The agreement will be fulfilled within 31.12.2010.

FMT has a long history from 1950 as a manufacturer of complete interiors for the health market, especially towards pharmacies. It is a factory with modern equipment for production of furniture of plywood, mdf or chipboards and with highly qualified personnel to make high quality furniture.

“This acquisition will give us a new benefit as we will be able to develop our furniture further and we will be able to control the production ourselves”, CEO Jonny Bjørnset in Vestnes Norway says. It is also interesting with a new market for us as the health sector is quite new to us.

“…this will give FMT a solid foundation for a healthy growth in the future. The Vestnes groups professional market and salesforces will be very positive for FMT in todays competition”, CEO Arne Lillevik in FMT says.

VN will immediately start up with “plotting the course” for the new company in the group to secure a strategically platform to secure future growth both for the company and its employees.
